Throughout 2013 I will be writing more tutorials, some for sale, some free. This tutorial, “Dragonfly in the Garden,” is a wire brooch design featuring one of my handcrafted dragonflies with resin wings. Details on how to create the wings are in the tutorial as well.

I think I was born with a pencil in my hand, which I combined with crayons and my dad's typing paper to write and illustrate my own books. Since then I've wielded a calligraphy pen, a sewing needle, a crochet hook, a paintbrush, a few thousand flower stems, and now a pair (or 10) of Wubbers jewelry pliers.
